Nitro Pro is a PDF editor which represents many years of our work. We like to say that the product is like our child. Despite the fact that we have not had control of its direction, we have been able to influence a lot of its aspects and we have tried to innovate the product and increase its quality.
Within the work on this project, we have got to know all the phases of developing a software product – from the discussion with the customer to the implementation, testing and delivery of the specific function.

PDF commenting
Commenting or adding remarks to documents is a common way of work in case the internal company processes require approving documents at several levels, or by several departments. The comments may relate to the price lists, internal company guidelines, as well as legal documents (like employment agreements, service delivery contracts etc.).
PDF security
Protection of digital contents is being mentioned in the media on a regular basis. However, it is not always possible to obey the rule of not providing any sensitive data to remain on the safe side. Every employer, employee, author, self-employed or student holds private or sensitive information. Therefore, it is only natural that the PDF format also responds to these needs and offers various types of document protection - from digital signature to RMS 2.0.
PDF content editing
For a layman, editing a PDF document is often an uneasy task full of unexpected reactions of the document. The complex PDF structure often leads to surprises, as what a person expects to be a "normal reaction". During the course of its development, the editing options of the Nitro Pro program have changed several times. Recently, they have been changed to allow changes of what you see on the screen using just one tool.
PDF creation
The PDF format standard has the form of a technical norm. However, we are coming across hundreds of types of differently created PDF documents. In the documents, it is possible to use compression filters, the text order may vary etc.. The result of such variety can lead to omitting something in the text or wrong display of the information. Therefore, constant updating of the viewing function is required.
